July Art Classes

Animal Landscapes | Ages 5-7

Learn the basics of landscapes by designing habitats for different animals - a panda and a bamboo forest or a camel in the desert. Do several mixed media projects of animals and where they live.

$30
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10-10:50am
July 11, 13, 18, 20

Landscapes | Ages 8-11

Paint, draw, print, and more as we make landscapes real or imaginary. Learn the fundamentals, then make a fantasy land to house a dragon or an island to hide treasure or whatever you think up.

$30
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11-11:50am
July 11, 13, 18, 20

Art Studio Class | Ages 7+

Each little artist picks a medium to specialize in. Complete a technique workshop to learn the basics, then do at least three designs or sketches to talk about with the teacher before working on an individual artwork. Finished artwork will include an artist statement telling what the work means to them. All completed art work can be submitted to be included in an end-of-summer art gallery.

Session Two Media: Mosaics or Fabric Art (weaving, wall hangings)

Mondays and Wednesdays, Noon-2pm
