October Theater Classes

Auditioning and Monologues | Ages 6-8

Auditioning is a BIG part of acting, even in local theater! This course is designed to help students come to auditions prepared, professional, and comfortable. By the time we end the class, students will have a prepared, polished monologue that showcases their talents! Students will learn to enter and slate for auditions, create a professional resume, and how to select appropriate audition material and apply techniques in memorization, voice, body, character, and interaction to one monologue.

Even if your student isn't hoping to make it big in the acting world, this class is a great way to learn and practice how to speak in front of crowds.
