Apply for a Travel Grant for your School

Don’t have the budget to pay for buses? We can help! Funding is available from the Idaho Falls Arts Council for school field trips to cover the cost of transportation to ARTitorium on Broadway.

Grants are available to pay for transportation from ANY county in Idaho! Also, thanks to the generous support from the F.M., Anne G., and Beverly B. Bistline Foundation in the Idaho Community Foundation, we have additional funds to support field trips specifically from Bannock, Bingham, Bear Lake, Caribou, Franklin, Oneida, and Power counties.

Please review the guidelines before submitting an application:

  • Schools should submit an application form at least one month before the planned visit. You will hear from us within seven days of the submission.
  • Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and funds are allocated at the discretion of the Arts Council.
  • You do not need to know the exact date of your planned field trip when you submit the application, but we encourage you to schedule it as soon as possible as the days can fill up quickly. Note that there are some times when we are unable to facilitate field trips. Please contact us for details.
  • Funding is available only for transportation – schools still need to pay for the field trip experience ($3 per student). Please contact us if you require assistance with this, we may be able to help!
