Youth Jam FAQs
Where should I park?
If you arrive early, you might snag a space in the small 2-hour parking
lot on the Riverwalk (close to the Memorial Dr/E street traffic circle). Otherwise, you can park in the LDS church parking lot next to the Temple and cross Riverside Drive to be right at the event. Downtown street parking (2-hour) might also be available, and there are several all-day lots within a short walk from the event. Visit the Idaho Falls Downtown Development website for more parking info and a map. Note that Memorial Drive will be closed on the Saturday of Youth Jam since the Farmer’s Market takes place along the road from 9am until 1pm.
Where should I start?
We recommend you start at the Information Tent located near the Memorial Drive parking lot under the double yellow canopies. There you can pick up the Youth Jam passport, grab a bag to store all of your art projects, check out the event map and performance schedule, and ask questions.
What should I/my kids wear?
It is always hot, sometimes windy, and many art projects are messy, so dress accordingly!
I have toddlers and I need a break, what should I do?
Visit our Toddler Tent located near the Greenbelt Stage! There you can have a rest in the shade while your little kids play safely in a fenced space.
Will there be food?
There are a variety of food vendors that participate in Youth Jam. Find them on the concrete pads along Memorial Drive and check out the map in the event program to see the options. We're also right next to downtown Idaho Falls for more food and drink options.
What if I miss something awesome?
Performances and activities aren't the same every day, so be sure to check the schedule in the event program to plan your day!
What if I need first aid?
Mountain View Network is providing a First Aid tent for the 2025 Youth Jam, located near the Info Tent.
How do I volunteer/be a vendor/perform at the event?
Contact Georgina at artitorium@idahofallsarts.org to find out how to participate next year!
Who runs the event?
The Idaho Falls Arts Council and ARTitorium on Broadway coordinate the event, with amazing support from local businesses and individuals. 2025 sponsors include Teton Volkswagen, Battelle Energy Alliance, Mountain View Charity, EIRMC, Answers, Inc., Bateman-Hall, Abigail Martin Real Estate, ICCU, Idaho Falls Community Hospital, the Ralph and Mary Lynn Family Fund, Idaho Falls Downtown Development, and Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation.
